The Influence Of The Head Of Madrasah's Charismatic Leadership, Work Team, And Job Satisfaction On The Normative Commitment Of State Elementary School Teachers In Asahan District
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect influence of the head of madrasah's charismatic leadership and teamwork on job satisfaction and normative commitment of teachers at SD Negeri in Asahan Regency. The research subjects were 101 teachers selected thru proportional simple random sampling. The method used is path analysis to test the relationships between variables. The research results indicate that the charismatic leadership of the madrasah head has a direct and significant influence on teacher job satisfaction (ρ₃₁ = 0.42; contribution 17%) and normative commitment (ρ₄₁ = 0.31; contribution 9.6%). Teamwork also has a direct influence on job satisfaction (ρ₃₂ = 0.46; contribution 21%) and normative commitment (ρ₄₂ = 0.36; contribution 12%). Job satisfaction is proven to have a significant influence on normative commitment (ρ₄₃ = 0.40; contribution 16%). In addition, there is an indirect influence of charismatic leadership (ρ = 0.591; contribution 32.8%) and teamwork (ρ = 0.604) on normative commitment thru job satisfaction
