Development Of An Integrated Islamic Religious Education Curriculum At Smp Integrated Islamic In Deli Serdang Regency

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the 1) Development of an integrated Islamic Religious Education curriculum at SMP IT Al-Hijrah, 2) Development of an integrated Islamic Religious Education curriculum at SMP IT Nurul Fadhilah, and 3) Development of an integrated Islamic Religious Education curriculum at SMP IT Nurul Ilmi. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources were the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and teachers. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman model, which involved data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions or verification. Data validity was ensured through triangulation and confirmability. This study found three findings: (1) The development of an integrated Islamic Religious Education curriculum at SMP IT Al-Hijrah used the Ralph Tyler curriculum model. SMP IT Al-Hijrah integrated Islamic Religious Education into the curriculum using the Integrated Subject Model. (2) The development of an integrated Islamic Religious Education curriculum at SMP IT Nurul Fadhilah used the Taba's Inverted Model. The integration of Islamic Religious Education into the curriculum at Nurul Fadhilah Islamic Junior High School uses the Connected Model. (3) The development of an integrated Islamic Religious Education curriculum at Nurul Ilmi Islamic Junior High School applies the Rogers Interpersonal Relations Model. The integration of Islamic Religious Education into the curriculum at Nurul Ilmi Islamic Junior High School uses the Connected Model.
