Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini akan melihat sejauh mana video animasi tentang sumber daya alam untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 135/X Bangun Karya, Kec. Rantau Rasau, Kab. Tanjung Jabung Timur, Jambi

Metodologi: Desain penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimental menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol non-setara posttest. Penelitian ini berlokasi di sebuah sekolah dasar di Batanghari dengan total 60 siswa. Di kelas eksperimen, ada 30 siswa dan di kelas kontrol, ada 30 siswa.

Hasil Temuan: Dengan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi diharapkan anak akan lebih tertarik dan memiliki motivasi yang lebih dalam belajar. Sehingga hasil belajar yang diperoleh akan menjadi maksimal. dapat diketahui jika kelas kontrol memiliki kategori tidak baik dengan persentase 52.1%. Sedangkan untuk kelas eksperimen hasil yang didapat adalah cenderung masuk dalam kategori baik dengan 47.8% atau 11 siswa. Dari hasil diatas dapat disimpulan jika pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan buku pelajaran konvensional memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan dengan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan video animasi tentang sumber daya alam. Kelas eksperimen menunjukan hasil yang sangat positif untuk motivasi belajar siswa karena menggunakan video animasi tentang sumber daya alam.
