Abstract

This article aims to explore how the traditional art game of Gendang Bugis is used as an evaluation of moral pedagogy in a digital context. The research method uses an exploratory qualitative approach with digital ethnographic techniques, which involves in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of digital documentation from YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok platforms. The results of the study show that moral values such as discipline, respect, solidarity, and cooperation are successfully maintained in the digital representation of Gendang Bugis game. The example of senior players significantly influences the internalization of moral values among the younger generation through interactive and dynamic virtual interactions. Although digitalization presents challenges in maintaining the authenticity of moral values, this study confirms that digital platforms actually strengthen the effectiveness of traditional art-based moral pedagogy. Research recommends the development of more explicit and interactive educational content to maximize the potential of traditional art's moral pedagogy in the digital space.
