Focus and Scope

Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam Indonesia (JPAII) (J. Pend. A. Isl. Ind)  is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to disseminating advances in knowledge and research in the field of Islamic education both in Indonesia and in majority and minority countries the population is Muslim. Committed to excellence, the Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam Indonesia (JPAII) publishes comprehensive research articles and invites reviews from leading experts in the field of Islamic Education. The selection criteria prioritize papers that demonstrate high scientific value, convey new knowledge and have a significant impact on Islamic education, especially transformative Islam. The focus of this journal includes assessment, Islamic teaching and learning as well as related topics in formal and non-formal education at school, college, madrasah, Islamic boarding school levels so that it can contribute to Islamic education policy and practice. This journal encompasses original research articles, including:

  • Islamic ethno pedagogy, includes the latest advances in research in the integration of Islamic religion, including teaching and learning based on the reconstruction of Islamic religion in terms of aspects of local culture, local wisdom of Islamic communities so that it can contribute to the policies and practices of Islamic education.
